A healthy medical community depends on people feeling respected, supported, and able to participate fully in their workplaces and education.

Belonging within healthcare

NZJeMA gives Jewish healthcare professionals and students a place to connect, share experience, and support one another when faith or identity becomes a source of discrimination. That professional community is especially important when antisemitism emerges in hospitals, clinics, universities, or online spaces connected to work.

Learning across communities

Relationships with Jewish and Israeli medical associations strengthen international ties and create opportunities for cultural and professional exchange. Educational work can also help the wider New Zealand medical community understand Jewish history, heritage, and the connection of the Jewish people to the land of Israel.

Members make the work possible

Volunteers support events, communications, advocacy, and new projects. Members can use the website to find resources, follow news and events, and connect with people who share a commitment to a respectful and inclusive profession.

A more inclusive profession requires participation.

Join the community, contribute your expertise, or bring NZJeMA an idea that could improve professional connection and support.
