NZJeMA is a group of Jewish medical professionals who came together in response to rising antisemitism in NZ. By creating a platform for community engagement and support, the mission of NZJeMA is to create a more inclusive and tolerant healthcare environment for all New Zealanders and to advocate, support, educate and empower individuals and organizations to stand up against discrimination and antisemitism in the NZ healthcare system.

Our association is comprised of doctors, trainees, students, and consultants across the nursing, dental, allied health, paramedical, mental health and other medical disciplines. Join us in our mission to unite and strengthen the Jewish medical community in New Zealand.

Our Vision and Mission

NZJeMA is dedicated to uniting and advocating for Jewish healthcare professionals, while supporting those facing discrimination. Our mission extends to educating about Jewish origins and fostering international collaboration.

Through our initiatives, we envision a future where antisemitism is eradicated, discrimination is challenged, and the medical community in NZ is knowledgeable and respectful of Jewish heritage.
